Fun fact: It was scrapped partially because Katheryn Beaumont in her words ''was no Judy Garland'', thus they wrote ''In a World of my Own'' to give her a song. And it was later changed into ''The Second Star to The Right''. Just like a song called ''Land of Sand'', written for a dropped concept in Mary Poppins, became the beloved, also known as the coil kink (;-) ) anthem, ''Trust In Me''.

I think they deleted this song because well because in the book it says that Alice sings this song and it would be strange to see her singing with a deep voice
